Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore the application of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) angiography in the diagnosis of diabetic foot (DF) lower limb arterial disease. A total of 78 patients with DF were selected as DF group, 41 patients were mild, 37 were severe, 80 patients with diabetes were selected as control group (DM group), and MSCT angiography was used to detect the cross-sectional area of lower extremity artery lumen. The lumen cross-sectional areas of femoral artery, popliteal artery and posterior tibial artery in DF group were significantly smaller than those in DM group (P<0.05); The lumen cross-sectional areas of common iliac artery, femoral artery, popliteal artery, anterior tibial artery, posterior tibial artery, peroneal artery and dorsalis pedis artery in severe patients of DF group were significantly smaller than those of mild patients (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in the cross-sectional area of lower extremity artery in patients of different gender and age of DF group (P>0.05). MSCT angiography can clearly show the arterial lesions of DF lower limbs, and the sectional area of arterial lumen of lower limbs can reflect the severity of the disease.
