Abstract: Dark and photo-conductivities of the α-PcCu evaporated film prepared at slow evaporation rate were studied. The photo- to dark-current ratio could reach the order of 104 under an irradiation of 123mW/cm2 from a tungsten lamp and an electrical field of 5×102 V/cm, whereas the bi-layer film which was comprised of a-PcCu evaporated film and PVK-TNF (1:0.5) solution film had good reproducibility in electrical conductivity. The photo- to dark-current ratio of bi-layer film could also reach about 103 and retained good photoconductivity even in air for 500 days.
