A NEW KIND OF NONLINEAR OPTICAL MATERIALS——FERRIC OXIDE HYDROSOL AND ORGANOSOL

Abstract: The third order optical nonlinearities of Fe2O3 hydrosol and organosol are firstly studied with degenerate four wave mixing technique, and some other experiments are carried out to understand the enhancement of nonlinear response due to surface modification on Fe2O3 ultrafine particles.
