Abstract: In this work, a series of triaryl pyrazoline compounds with different substituted groups have been synthesized. The photophysical behavior of these compounds including quantum yields and lifetime of fluorescence in solvents with different polarities has also been measured. Results indicated that except for the intramolecular conjugated charge transfer, there is intramolecular non-conjugated electron transfer existing in the excited state of these compounds. The fluorescence quenching of pyrylium salt has also been studied. The results obtained were discussed briefly.
