Colorimetric and Electrochemical Pb2+ Detection by σ-Bridged Tetrathiafulvalene-Pyridine Derivatives

Abstract: Two σ-bridged TTF-σ-pyridine derivatives,T4Py,and TB,were synthesized and characterized.It was found that T4Py displayed remarkable changes in solution,1HNMR spectra,and electrochemical properties,upon complexation with Pb2+ ions.
