Abstract: In the function-separated photoreceptor device, the carrier generation and carrier transport functions are separated into two discrete layers, the carriergeneration layer(CGL)and the carriertransport layer(CTL).We used vanadyl phthalocyanine as CGL material.Several CTL materials, such as perylene, oxadiazole, hydrazone derivative dyes were synthesized and then were coated over the CGL to be the function-separated photoreceptors,Their distinctive electrophotographic properties were examined, and the effect of CGL/CTL energetic adaption on the photoconductivities was investigated especially.
