Abstract: Ag nanoparticles of three different sizes were prepared. The sizes of the Ag nanoparticles were measured by TEM. The TiO2 thin films doped with Ag were characterized using photocurrent measurement. The photocatalytic activities of the films were evaluated on degradation of methylene blue under UV radiation. The photocurrent and photocatalytic activity of TiO2 films were improved in some extent when loaded with Ag of different sizes. When the particle size was 6.9 nm, the photocurrent and photocatalytic activity reached the maximum.
