Abstract: This paper explored the efficacy value of magnetic resonance T₂ mapping imaging in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. 72 gymnasts with rotator cuff injury underwent arthroscopic rotator cuff repair were selected, and underwent routine MR sequence and T₂ mapping sequence examination of the shoulder joint before and 6 months after surgery. And then divided them into excellent group (n=52) and poor group (n=20) according 6 months postoperative effect. The results showed that the proportion of low-grade MRI in the excellent group was higher than in the poor group, and the T₂ values of the supraspinatus tendon in the middle, medial and lateral sides of the supraspinatus tendon before and 6 months after surgery were lower than those in the poor group. The constant-murley score (CMS), university shoulder score (UCLA) was higher than that of the poor group (P<0.05). The T₂ values of the middle, medial and lateral supraspinatus tendon were negatively correlated with the CMS and UCLA scores before and 6 months after surgery (P<0.05). T₂ values of the supraspinatus tendon before and 6 months after surgery were significantly correlated with the curative effect (P<0.05). The middle, medial and lateral T₂ values of the supraspinatus tendon at 6 months after surgery were combined to evaluate the postoperative curative effect. The poor area under the curve (AUC) was the largest at 0.887. Magnetic resonance T₂ mapping imaging has a high value in evaluating the efficacy of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair.
