Abstract: The Influence of chemical ripening time, pH and pAg on Low-Intensity Reciprocity Failure (LIRF) was inverstigated after chemical ripening of photographic emulsion in this paper. With the increase of the chemical ripening time, LIRF of photographic emulsion is decreased. In the suitable range, the increase of pH and the decrease of pAg in the emulsion after chemical ripening is of benefit to enhancing the sensitivity in the low-intensity exposure and improving the low-intenreciprocity characteristics.
