Abstract

Abstract: The second harmoic properties of the torona onset poling at elevated temperature(CO-PET) and their temporal stabilities of three azo compounds are investigated.The (X_eff)⁽²⁾ values of the compounds were measured quantitatively and one of them was compared with literature value.Specifically, the effects of long chain on the amino group of azobenzene molecules upon the dipole orientation and second harmonic generation properties are discussed.
