DYE-POLYMER FILM MEDIUM IN OPTICAL DISK SYSTEM

Abstract: A film medium contahing thiazole azo dye and nitrocelldose on a glass substrate have been made by solvent-coated method and usedin optical disk system. The optical and physical characteristics of this medium that lead to good recording sensitivity and high levels of playback performance have also been discussed.
