SULFUR SENSITIZATION IN THE SILVER HALIDE IMAGING SYSTEM

Abstract

Abstract: The process of sulfur sensitization of the silver halide emulsion is reviewed from the viewpoints of the formation of the sensitization center and its sensitizing mechanism.At the same time,the progress of the sulfur sensitization theory including the distribution of the sensitization centers,their characteristics,the sensitizing conditions,sensitizing clusters and the new methods of sulfur sensitization are also introduced.
