THE SYNTHESIS AND BROMINATION OF A-TETRA-N-PENTOXY SUBSTITUTED PHTHALOCYANINES AND THEIR PHOTO-PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Abstract: A novel α-tetra-n-pentoxy-substituted phthalocyanine was synthesized.It is shown that the absorption peak of the phthalocyanine is red-shifted and the molar extinction coefficient decreases by the bromination reaction.The thermal stability of the phthalocyanine is also changed.
